Thai Ambassador and team visit to Kawthaung town

Thai ambassador to Myanmar H E Mr. Pisanu Suvanjata visited to Kawthaung town via Ranong town of Thailand on 17 September.

The Thai ambassador and party visited to Bayintnaung Statue hill at the first. And then they met with Kawthaung Administrator and departmental officials, merchants and representatives of Hotel and Tourism Industry in the hall of the Merchant Association office. At the meeting, both sides exchanged view on the ways for developing tourism industry at the Kawthaung-Ranong Districts which are border areas between two countries, promoting of Inland Water transport, giving for health assistances to peoples of both countries resending in the areas and ensuring smooth services for business visa and passport.

Next, the first secretary of Thai Embassy to Myanmar and party visited to the Kawthaung correction Centre and met to speak words of encouragement to Thai prisoners, and he also spoke words of thanks to the officials of Correction Centre for taking good care of his citizens.
